Governor Phil Bredesen has proclaimed November 19, 2009 Parent Involvement Day. Research shows that strong relationships between home and school lead to a child's academic and social success. Parents are urged to contact their child's school to volunteer their time and talents not only on November 19th but throughout the school year. If you would like to volunteer call 931-364-2604. Your child and Forrest School need you!!!

Announcements: Students who have not picked up their Rocket Ramble T-shirt or 1/2 day pass need to see the following: Freshmen-Mrs. Russell; Sophomores-Dr. Huffines; Juniors-Mr. Smith; Seniors-Coach Mac. The American Legion is sponsoring an oratorical contest for high school students. Scholarships will be awarded to the winners. For more information, come by the guidance office. Progress reports will go out on November 30th. FCCLA pictures have been re-scheduled for after the Thanksgiving break. Senior Parents who would like to receive weekly scholarship updates, please email Mrs. Cheatham with your request. Congratulations to the Rocket Band of Blue, State Runner-Up; the Band of Blue Color Guard, State Champions; and Brooke Russell, Solo State Champion.
